SUPRELORIN IMPLANT

This is a new under skin hormone implant (containing a genadotrophin releasing hormone agonist) lasting up to 12 months with a variety of indications including:

• fertility control which is reversible

• prostate health

• urinary incontinence especially in desexed mature females

• behaviour problems in male entire dogs.

The implant is about the size of a grain of rice, and is inserted under the skin without sedation or local anaesthesia (similar to inserting a microchip).

Some owners may want to "test drive" the effects of surgical desexing on their male or female dog by using the implant first. We have found most cases of female dog incontinence to be treated well and without side-effects with this method.

BREEDING & FERTILITY
In conjunction with Frozen Puppies – www.frozenpuppies.com.au - we optimize your dog's fertility in providing access to rapid progesterone testing and vaginal cytology. Surgical insemination and artificial insemination can be provided off-site if required.
