Our heroes wear scrubs and animal fur! Celebrating Veterinary Nurse Day
Behind every veterinary clinic is a team of dedicated veterinary nurses who work tirelessly to care for our patients and support their families.
Our heroes wear scrubs and animal fur! Celebrating Veterinary Nurse Day
On Friday, 9 October, we celebrated Veterinary Nurse Day, a special occasion dedicated to recognising the incredible contribution veterinary nurses and veterinary technologists make to the veterinary industry across Australia.
It is a day to acknowledge the skill, compassion, resilience, and wholehearted dedication that veterinary nurses bring to their work every single day. Whether they are comforting a frightened patient, solving complex clinical challenges, supporting clients through difficult moments, or helping a busy clinic run smoothly, veterinary nurses embody a unique combination of expertise, strength, and kindness.
Here at Erina Heights Vet Hospital, we are fortunate to have an amazing team of 16 veterinary nurses who show up every day to care for your pets. They are truly the backbone of our clinic. From answering the phone and welcoming clients through the door, to monitoring anaesthesia during surgery, caring for hospitalised patients, and supporting families through life's most challenging moments, their impact reaches every corner of our hospital.
To our veterinary nurses, and to all veterinary nurses across the industry, thank you. Your dedication, compassion, and commitment make an immeasurable difference to the lives of pets and the people who love them.
We simply couldn't do what we do without you.
