Cert IV Veterinary Nurse – Head Nurse

Kelsie joined the EHVH team in 2015 and has been a qualified veterinary nurse for 12 years. Kelsie has further qualifications in Certificate IV Training and Assessment and spreads her time across nursing and teaching veterinary nursing at TAFE.

She shares the Head Nurse role here at EHVH where she also manages the TAFE students who come to do their placement at our hospital. Kelsie has always loved animals and is keen on animal rescue, having 3 rescue cats ‘Ebony’, ‘Splash’ & ‘Mdog’ and a Labrador ‘Rum’, her home is becoming quite full.

And to add to her menagerie, she is mum to a beautiful baby boy, Mordecai. Kelsie’s main interests at the hospital are client relationships and communication, animal behaviour and training new staff and students. Outside her busy schedule, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
