Cert lV Veterinary Nurse

Jodie started here at EHVH at the start of 2021 after starting her nursing career over 8 years ago. She gained her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2014 while working and studying in the Newcastle area. She has a special interest in surgery and anaesthetic monitoring, communicating with our clients to boost their confidence in managing their pet’s health care, teaching puppy preschool classes with a key focus on forming positive behaviours early on in life.

She has paired this with further training courses at NAREC and by completing Dr Sophia Yin’s Low Stress Handling of Dogs and Cats. Jodie is an advocate for pet adoption by sharing her house with the beautiful ‘Tommytito’ a DSH rescue cat from Tamworth & ‘Dottie’ a 7-year-old greyhound that was rescued from her previous clinic. She is also mum to two young kids, who keep her young at heart through play every day. They spend a lot of time swimming at Blue Bay. She also loves to run, cook, and travel the world.
